What Minamise does

Minamise reduces the size of video, audio, and images on your device:

• Hardware H.264 / HEVC compression
• AV1, audio extract/convert, GIF, strip metadata
• Batch queue, Share Extension, destination presets
• Optional tip jar (does not unlock features)

All encoding runs on your device. There is no Minamise cloud account.

Get help

1. In the app: About → Export Diagnostics, then email the file with a short description.
2. App Store: support link on the product page.
3. Email: adamnewbold@pm.me

Please include device model, iOS version, what you tried, and a diagnostics export if possible. Do not send original media unless asked.

Common questions

Tips don’t appear

Needs network and a completed Paid Apps Agreement. Tips never unlock features.

Share Extension doesn’t open Minamise

Both app and extension need App Group group.com.adamnewbold.minamise.

GIF looks blocky or huge

Use Best quality and Keep Resolution for cleaner GIFs (files will be large). Prefer H.264/HEVC for smaller video.

Can’t save to Photos

Allow Add Photos in Settings → Minamise, or save via Files.

AV1 is slow

Software encode — prefer HEVC or H.264 for everyday use.
